Updated: Dec 14, 2020
Hello Positive People!
Today, I want to discuss how you can free your mind and reduce some of the stress in your life. Now is the time to let some things go!
Have you ever felt overwhelmed emotionally without understanding why? Perhaps out of the blue you feel drained which may ultimately lead to a state of not feeling very well--even depression or anxiety. In many instances, such feelings occur because you have not paid attention to your emotional baggage--baggage that is weighing you down. It is time to stop, acknowledge your feelings and find a way to deal with the unresolved issues that are causing you pain.
The following are a few things you need to let go of so that you can begin to live life with purpose. These are things that will allow you to have emotional freedom.
Let go of negative past experiences - take the time to analyze what hurt you in the past. Compose a list of the negative experiences that stand out in your mind. Write those experiences down in your journal. Reflect on what happened, why it happened and how you can learn from the experiences.
Let go of unhealthy relationships. Do you realize how stressful it is to surround yourself with people who bring you down? Relationships like this are detrimental to your health. Ask yourself why are you allowing someone to destroy your joy? Take time out to work on your self worth, to value yourself as someone who deserves happiness. It is better to be alone than be with someone who does not have your best interest at heart.
Let go of gossip...need I say more!
Let go of jealousy...it is an unnecessary emotion. Jealousy in most cases is based on feeling of inadequacy and low self esteem. What can you do to become a better person, what can you do to live your life with purpose. If you are feeling jealous...stop, pay attention to your feelings and redirect your thoughts to more positive actions.
